i saw the sample, and love it...have signed up to attend on 31st July pm class, taking time off from serious work to do some serious scrapping..hahaha...

find mini albums great as either gifts or if i have a particular set of photos of a certain theme...they can make good coffee table books...or just to carry around with you when travelling...

hmm its always hard for me to do it as a gift, dunno what photo to choose ?? any theme to it ?? sometimes i ponder whats the difference between a mini album and a LO

Blank mini albums would be a good present as well ie ones that we have decorated and just left places to add pictures and title/journelling. That way the receipient can personalise it further!

Jasmine... you MUST MUST go to an Archivers!! Better still, go to all the different outlets!! It's lots of fun digging through the clearance stuff... I scored a whole little booklet of MM alpha rubons at just USD$5!!!

Otherwise, the individual local scrapbook stores have limited range. I went to one today and they didn't even have any range of MM paint or clear stamps. Quite disappointed. But I'm going to another Archivers' on Wed morning... heheheheh...

any of them near the convention center we're gonna be at?

I went to the archivers at Downers Grove and at Bloomingdale. They are south and west of o'hare airport respectively. if your convention center is near rosemont, then the Downers Grove store should be about a 20 min drive away, not too far.

Am going to the archivers at Niles tomorrow morning, for a papercrafting class. Will report back! :)

Just went to a couple of them and they were completely off the mark. Really fictional stuff the authors made up to fool the uninformed. But now that the actual book's out, you can tell they never laid their hands on a real copy.
