Yay.... I am a supporter of World Vision....... I remember those days of fasting hour in university days... to raise funds and awareness for World vision.

NOw my family and I participate in their child sponsorship program too. Very meaningful and also teach our kids something about giving back to society.

MWL is the best! Your efforts count ALOT for families and children in need.

Yup been child sponsor for 10 yrs now... they do good work at getting the villages self-sustaining after a while...

YES! YES!!! That's why we feel passionately about this. It's not just giving hand-outs. We empower these children and their families to make a better life for themselves. To help them eventually be self-sustaining.:)

You see, many a time, there's no work where they live, so families are broken up and parents travel far away to other villages to find work. When we help to build villages with both our monetary support and effort, we help keep families together because of job creation within these villages we are supporting.

We are soooo happy to see that you're all excited to be in on this with us! :grouphug:
