hi siti. there are many ways of doing up a mini-album. was very much into it for awhile few mths back. did for friends and family.
there are ready-packed kits available from various brands. (however they're currently out-of-stock but shld be coming in soon...) or u can diy one. Basically u'll need cardstocks for the pages, chipboards and pp for the cover and glue to stick them together.
there are some ideas at the shop which u can refer to. i'll try to post up some which i've done in the gallery later.

haha! I'm doing one for my friend and am trying to meet deadline!!! I'm into mini albums too. My smallest is a 2"x2" accordin type. When the album is fully "opened", it is 12" long. Just me and some crazy experimentations.

to make things simpler, you can also buy ready-made mini albums e.g. 6x6, and just need to do layouts for the pages. there used to be mini album classes at MWL which I attended, and we used matching CS and PP to make pages for the entire album. it's quite easy and useful, and I find that most photos go well regardless of the color of papers you use.

haha well siti u get inspiration by attending classes or even through reading books and magazine. Take your time. I have only done 1 mini album but was on consignment (ie was paid to do so) and that was my 1st. and it took me 24 hours to do. So scared i did wrongly. But that was before I joined MWL.
U can try it too. Not that difficult. Like Soo Jen always tell me "Experiment and you will be better on your next project". :D

siti you might wan to sketch a your inspiration LO 1st?
I just tried my 1st sketch 2 hours ago. Me, not a kind of person who sketch ot take notes. (except lecture notes lah) cos every time I scrap, i shift the paper till I like the LO. When i wan to stick and start removing them, I end up forgetting how it look like.. So I sketch b4 i remove.. it helps and i scrap a little faster too.

Is the Pandora class your first class? I tell you, after you attend the class, you will want to replicate whatever you do in class!!! Except with different PP, colour theme and photos and even embellishment!

i put mine in zip-lock bags and then in shoeboxes, and then in cupboards (with the hungry hippos!!!)... call me kiasu, but storage is important to deal with the problem of humidity in our climate!!!
