I have been constantly at work or in bed! HAHA!
General hospitals are generally, well, busy busy busy. 12 hour days are the norm which can be exciting but very tiring as well. By the time I reach home I am so knackered, I KO until the next morning.

wow. all these talk about disneyland...well, i shall have to stop buying sb supplies and save big time to go to almost any of them. not keen on the HK one. heard more rides for the kiddoes...
anyway, that sentence i said in my broken cantonese - just what i imagine they might say?
adoncia, well, think it would be more fun if bb is older - like 4 yrs old and above...and by then, i guess you would have saved enough to go tokyo!?!
any idea if there is minimum height requirement for rides for kids?
adoncia
11th December 2007, 08:25 AM

actually i feel that if u intend to visit the different disneylands, it's better that u consider going to hk disneyland first so when u visit another one u will find something new.. or for something different, try disneysea~!!
cos i have gone to the tokyo one first then later the hk one and find that nothing much there as hk disneyland is still quite new and small compared to the rest..

i think i not so 'ambitious' to try out other disneylands. jus go to one ok already. the Florida one mayb better for my girls as it's all in english, easier for my girls to understand too. but i heard dat u've to queue a while for the rides.
tsuki
11th December 2007, 10:59 AM
yup especially for the popular rides.. but for some attractions they have a fast pass system where u just get a queue number and return later during the stated time so u can go for some other things instead of standing there for so long and wasting half of the day waiting!

I quite agree. After that, no other Disneyland can quite compare, sadly, so if I want to go again, I've gotta save up for Orlando... wanted to go see the Xmas happenings in HK Disney, but then decided to put it off and save ie put the money towards our next trip to Orlando... sigh... good things come to those who wait....
14 days more to Xmas!! 7 days more till my helper comes back... betcha all can guess which one I'm more looking forward to at the moment :p

wow...interesting sharing on disneyland. I been to tokyo disneyland for 10times or more. Have not been to those at the states. thanks for sharing.it is so tempting..probably next time i should save up and give it a try. still a few questions to check with you guys. Tokyo Disney has lots of cute souvenir, how about the states, in Tokyo there are fast pass, is there fast pass? it seem like one day pass is not enough to see the whole disney in florida so how many days is good? lastly did anyone stay in Disney hotel before, is it really good? any recommendation?

Yes.. the Florida Orlando one is unmatchable......... so BIG... so many rides... oh.. I love it. And so many many places........ ayiah... i want to go again!
Went to the LA one too, can't be compared........
I guess if you've been to Florida DisneyWorld, you wouldn't want to visit the smaller Disneylands... coz 'no kick' anymore.
But for those whom start small, eg 1st-Hkg, 2nd-Tokyo/Paris, 3rd-LA, and finally Florida then it will be "WOW WoW each time!!" LOL!

wow...interesting sharing on disneyland.
Hi Happy, I totally agreed w/you that Tokyo Disneyland is cute! Esp the japanese whom are all fun lovers, even if you don't ustand japanese, by looking at their facial expressions and actions, you'll be amazed by them!
For me, my 1st was LA Disneyland, then Tokyo (2 times disneyland + 1 disneysea), + Paris EuroDisney. I think overall, in terms of rides and area, LA is the biggest + u can ustand English. Whereas for Tokyo its fun too coz they hv many mascots around. Put aside Florida lah... that's why its call DisneyWORLD. Must spend at least 5 days there, everyday 1 land hor!! :becky:

hi ros! did you enjoy at hong kong? hehe...
Hi, Adoncia ... surprisingly, Hong Kong Disneyland is fun. It's rather new and clean and interesting. I haven't been to other Disneyland though. The Disneyland hotels are nice people there are friendly and polite too. They make a point to smile and greet the guests, so the experience is wonderful ... of course ... my favourite programme will have to be the fireworks over Sleeping Beauty's Castle ... sigh! ... who would have guessed that at such a age, I still like fairy tales? haha

Hi, Wendy! :) I haven't been to the ohter Disneyland so I have nothing to compare it to. But seriously, I didn't have such a good experience in Ocean Park where the people are kind of rude, nearly got into a BIG fight there!. That's why the smiles and politeness in Disneyland is a good change ... I'm not going to be critical but seriously ... you don't get much "excuse me" and smiles in Hong Kong. Those who are going with young children and the elderly should be very careful. My nieces and nephews got quite a few knocks from people who ignore their presence.
All said, I thought the HK Disneyland was a wee bit too small. Only Tommorrow Land, Fantasy World and the Jungles. 3 themes.
