crackle accent

hi there.. anyone knows the right way to apply crackle accent? :help:
recently bought 1 bottle.. tried it out on a piece of stash last night.. left it overnight to dry.. this morning when i checked it, alamak! the 'cracks' are all parallel lines!!! :doh:

I dont have that problem
but could it be the nature of the material you "cracker?

i used a pp (stash).. but i applied in straight line manner, left to right, right to left.. does it matter how i apply the accent?

i just applied as a continuous layer like glossy - no problems
Crackled in all directions!
