Wowoweeeeee!!!! It’s been a MAAAAAAAD last 2 days the minute the CHA Winter Show started!!!! And we just can’t wait to share a little piece of the action that’s going on here! LIVE from Los Angeles!!!
For those of you who have just stumbled onto us – Made With Love … … the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Winter Show is an annual convention for craft/hobby retailers from all over the world to come meet manufacturers of all our favorite scrapbooking brands! It’s also the time when the latest and greatest of scrapbooking supplies are also released. So all the new arrivals you will be getting for the next 6 months till the CHA Summer show is unveiled at this very show that we are now at!
For those of you who know us well, you know this means that:-
1) it’s a hectic 3 & a half days of non-stop ordering for everything all of you have set your hearts on that we go through every year during this time for the last 6 years
2) sleeping 3-4 hours a day is the norm
3) coffee and coke are must-haves … … if only we could be fed caffeine intravenously … …
After a 16-hour flight, we’re a little worse for wear but all set to go … Here’s Jas, Sharon, Sandra and i reporting for duty … … And Aida too (she’s behind the camera .. but you’ll get to see her later in the blog)
But not before some serious discussion on STOCKING UP on some … … … … … SNACKS to last us through the nights as we write up a gazillion orders, make our selections, plan for workshops for lots and lots of scrapping and shopping fun for all of us in the coming months … …
LOL!!!! Our snack shrine … some healthy and some not so healthy snacks … … (Hey girls … we really should be stocking up on granola bars … …;P
But anywayz, the show began on Sat 29 Jan ’11 and we’re into the 3rd day of the show in about 9 hours time. Here are some snapshots of the show (our little peak for you behind the “velvet ropes” … …)

And here’s Sandra and i … sniff sniff … ordering …. Just kidding … STOCKING UP can be just as fun as scrapping!!!! But seriously … we soooooooo look forward to revealing all the wonderful supplies which will be arriving in the coming weeks and months!!! It’s gonna be one exciting year of awesome scrapping with all the lovely stuff we’ve seen!!! A number of the brands that we’ve always loved have really out-done themselves and a number of new ones are coming onto the scene with a bang!!!

Thanks sooo much for holding the fort back home together with Sheryll, Mallory, Hani, Nur, Joy, Peiwen, Airees, Evonica, Stephanie, Vanessa, Amanda, Ashley, Mavis, Luoying & Eileen, not forgetting our pool of dedicated part-timers! We miss you ALLL and will be back home by the end of the week so hang in there!!! We love you!!!!
