Design Team Inspirations
Hello Scrappers. Well it’s back to work for many of us and let’s all make a combined wish for a smooth rest of the week !
Again we are featuring mediums, what works and ideas for you to try. The main thing to remember - treat the process of using mediums as an adventure. If you start with trying to get a perfect piece of work, you will soon find out that it can be frustrating. Make sure you have ample free time, enough cleaning tools like wipes, kitchen towels, a spray bottle of water and newspapers lining the table top. If you have curious kids, rather than push them away, let them help with misting or painting manageable pieces of ATC sized cardstock. Keep the sessions short for them and very importantly, teach them how to clean up. After twenty minutes you will find they are quite happy to finish, move off somewhere else and leave you to get back to scrapbooking seriously.

If you have that bottle of paint, unopened bottles of mists ……… this is the time to break into them. There are tons and tons of product demos on YouTube which take you step by step on how to use the mists or paint techniques. Learn to leave behind expectations, pretend you are a kid again just wanting to experiment, not sure where you are going but definitely know you will have trememdous fun in the process !
