Design Team Call
Hello Scrappers !
You must’ve read in the newsletter about our open DT Call and are probably just as excited as we are ! We KNOW there are talented and truly creative Singapore based scrappers amongst us and if you are this scrapper, Made With Love would like you to join our Design Team.
What is Made With Love looking for ? Here is the list for you to check :
• You are creative and talented, *check* (of course you already are !)
• You are willing to commit to deadlines and take up the challenge of new products, you are a team player
• You will add value to our message board by posting regularly
• You take good clear photos of your work to upload in the Gallery
• You love meeting people and open to Made With Love customers approaching you for tips on products, techniques or style
• You are not designing for any other online or physical store in Singapore
• You have a Blog, or willing to start one and post regularly about the store’s products and events
If you are all of the above, read on :
• The DT term is for one year starting 1st August 2009 to 31st July 2010
• Register with the message board, post an introduction and add your blog link if you have one.
• Create one 12″ X 12″ layout specifically for Made With Love showing the use of Sizzix Die cuts as an embellishment. For those who do not have a Big Shot machine, a packet of raw die-cuts will be available from the front counter for you to work with. To collect, please register your name and contact, and the loyalty card if you have one. Submit this layout to the store Made With Love on or before 23th July Thursday 9pm. For the time being we ask you post this layout only in MWL’s Gallery and not anywhere else.
• Post clearly 2 recent layouts and 1 project in the Gallery for this DT Call. The work does not have to be specially created though it would be good to see current brands, work with mediums and die cuts. Very important : layouts must be between 500px and 600px, at 70kb All layouts must be posted in the Gallery by 23rd July Thursday 9pm.
We do appreciate that some scrappers might not feel comfortable with openly listing their interest, but we assure you Made With Love is not doing anything different or unusual from most scrapbooking stores in the US. As part of the Design Team you will be visible to our customers and we feel this call would be a perfect place to start. We hope you will see this as a fun and positive experience, and an introduction to another level of scrapbooking.
Introductions and your questions may be posted in the message board under Design Team July 2009.

• As part of the Design Team you will get a special discount for products and still continue to use your loyalty card for store promotions.
• You will get your bio on Made With Love’s homepage and be linked to the MWL Blog.
• Guaranteed exposure as part of our Design Team which may help you when you submit to other calls on Design Teams of US manufacturers
• Your work may be translated into classes at a later point in your DT term, subject to discussion and project suitability.
We truly believe Singapore scrappers have tremendous style and potential and Made With Love’s Design Team is a fabulous platform to start publicising your work. This is it, we can’t wait to get to know you better at the message board and see your work in the Gallery!
