Piradee’s Patchwork Challenge closes tomorrow and you still have one more day to get that layout in !! It’s a great challenge and good for getting those creative scrap juices going for scrappers who would like to try something different. Post your layouts in the Gallery *here*
There was much excitement at Made With Love as scrappers waited for Basic Grey’s newest offerings of Lemonade and June Bug. The two lines did not disappoint with Lemonade containing a delicious palette of Pinks, Greens and Yellows and June Bug with spunky Orange and Red tones.
Three of the Design Team were delighted at working on the Basic Grey collections as well as the accompanying gorgeous lace paper. You will love the dazzling eye-candy they created :
Merdrey used the large blooms backed with the beautiful lace paper.
Sharon worked with the sweetest colours for a beautiful layout of Mom and Child.
Leena created this punchy layout of her son with the lace cardstock as the background.

We get scrappers who say they love Basic Grey but find it difficult to work with the large floral designs in the paper. As you can see the layouts above will defintely give you a couple of ideas on layering and how to successfully combine the paper designs to get stunning results.
