There was much excitement at Made With Love as scrappers waited for Basic Grey’s newest offerings of Lemonade and June Bug. The two lines did not disappoint with Lemonade containing a delicious palette of Pinks, Greens and Yellows and June Bug with spunky Orange and Red tones.

Three of the Design Team were delighted at working on the Basic Grey collections as well as the accompanying gorgeous lace paper. You will love the dazzling eye-candy they created :

 Merdrey used the large blooms backed with the beautiful lace paper.

 Sharon worked with the sweetest colours for a beautiful layout of Mom and Child.

 Leena created this punchy layout of her son with the lace cardstock as the background.

We get scrappers who say they love Basic Grey but find it difficult to work with the large floral designs in the paper. As you can see the layouts above will defintely give you a couple of ideas on layering and how to successfully combine the paper designs to get stunning results. Hello there !!!

We are often asked about what we look for in a LOTW. The most important is the story or journaling in the layout, after that the photos and overall design, colour and if any unusual techniques were used. What we love best, what we feel it’s the biggest privilege, is getting to know the scrappers through their layouts and being able to feature a variety of styles or see a fresh take on a product. Featuring a layout in this blog is our way of saying **Great job, keep going, we want to see more !**

Hi Scrappers, this is Aida and I am back !

Webster’s Pages has some of the most distinctive paper designs based on a unique Americana feel with generous elements of vintage, yet modern enough to make it feel fresh. Their latest line Sweet Cherry Pie made it onto Made With Love’s shelves and scrappers could not wait to get their hands on them. The Design Team managed to snag a few sheets of the paperline and I know you will totally love what they did.
