I get asked many questions about the Design Team members and the most frequently asked is : do all of us work full time ? Aside from Emeline and I who are stay home mothers with kids, every other team member has a day-job. Our common factor of LOVING scrapbooking creates an environment where we are able to nudge one another into work that is hopefully inspiring and fresh, true to our individual styles. Most of you would have observed the whole team is divided into groups of three with each group taking turns to create layouts for the store. This week Soo Jen is away on travel and Emeline and I are here with the layouts to rev you into that scrap mood !

The final round of the Scrap Idol Shopping Challenge is here as well as the Layout Competition for the layout that best interprets the cover of a music CD. When you are next in the store, remember to check out the layouts on display at the store’s entrance and get your votes in on time for the layout you like. Only in seeing the layouts in real life, close up in their glorious colours and textures, will you understand the amount of work and thought each scrapper had put into the pages.

To bring you MORE of the good stuff, the Design Team sat down on Friday and talked about how we could rev up the fun, not just for scrapbooking but in other aspects as well. Most of the regular scrappers will know her but for those new to Made With Love, I would like to re-introduce Anne-Marie who has recently returned to Singapore after having been away in Switzerland for the past year.

Photography is such an essential part of this craft and with this in mind, Anne-Marie will be bringing you Photo Inspirations. We’ve seen the trend of many scrappers getting really good at photography and this is another way to share your ideas as well as to expand on your photo repertoire. So how does it work ? Every Monday in the Photography section Anne Marie will post prompts or clues to a photo theme, it might even include a photo from her and all you do is interpret the theme, then post in the Gallery under Photography. Easy-peasy and so much  fun, especially for days when you really don’t feel like scrapping !

Hello hello EVERYBODY!!! It was unbelievable yesterday!!! THANK YOU so much everyone for perservering and calling in to get yourselves spots in Celine Navarro’s workshops!!!

ALL 3 CLASSES/66 SPOTS on SAT. 9 MAY are FULLY BOOKED!!!!!

And it happened within 3 hours from when we opened registration!!! Some of you said that it could have been faster if our telephone line wasn’t so busy!!!

When we sent an invitation to teach at Made With Love to the one and only CELINE NAVARRO last year, we were over the moon when she readily accepted.
