A Happy Deepavali to those celebrating this Festival of Light !!! Serangoon Road’s Little India is ablaze with lights and I hope you will get a chance to drive through to soak in some of the excitement surrounding the area.

This week it’s Carol and I playing with 7 Gypsies’s Nottinghill Paper Kit, Crackle Paint and Stickels.We felt like kids all over again getting to experiment and getting our fingers smudged with paint, with no mommy around to scold at the mess. In scrapbooking : Mess is good, mess is a process and the journey to learning, stretching your abilities and supplies.

Carol alters her chipboard alphabets with the crackle paint and glimmer mist :

On this layout the crackle paint is used on a scroll chipboard and Grungeboard alphhabets :

I used the crackle paint as a background to frame the layout :

And the thick paint was trailed on to the paper and after it was part way dry, Stickels daubed on parts of the paint.
