::LUXE NIGHT WITH JENNIFER LYNN MOODY::
What a night!!! A BIIIIIG THANK YOU to one and all who braved crazy traffic and jostled with crowds to make it down to our place last night to give US celebrity scrapbook designer, Jennifer Lynn Moody, a warm welcome!!!
She’s flown into Singapore, all the way from Texas, to teach a series of workshops today and tomorrow exclusively at Made With Love!!! All 66 spaces were booked up in 2 days at the beginning of the month when the dates were first released and we’re just over the moon that the day has finally arrived!!! We can’t wait for the workshops to begin, and if last night was anything to go by, we’re all in for a reeeal treat this weekend!!! Jennifer’s enigmatic personality and the wealth of information she has on an array of scrapping techniques she shared in conversation with many of us was most inspiring!!! Makes me want to scrap something now even though it’s in the wee hours of the morning!!!
Anyhow, here are some sneak peeks at what went down on Luxe Night, last night, if you weren’t able to join us!!!
The cocktail reception was supposed to kick-start the event but Jennifer, the trooper that she is, jumped right into our demo bar and started doing Make-n-takes with scrapping friends of Made With Love, who had formed a steady queue!

Jennifer signing autograph after autograph on the attractive Make-N-Takes we got to do which we embellished with Luxe Designs ribbons, die cut journaling spots known as Jotters and coordinating epoxy stickers!!!
Still all smiles after the umpteenth Make-N-Take … isn’t she just such a swell babe!
We finally managed to peel her away from the demo bar and we proceeded to the Scrap Labs for the cocktail reception we organized for Scrapaholic For Life members … …
Thanks to Helda, Chenta and the rest of the cafe crew, who juggled dishing out hot meals for scrappers who dined in, amidst prepping these deee-li-cious hors d’oeurves … … yuuuum … …
And while we’re stuffing our faces … Jennifer takes a closer inspection at beeeau-ti-ful layouts that Aida Haron, our Resident Designer has created exclusively for Luxe Designs … and if you don’t already know … Aida has been invited to be one of the Luxe girls!!! Wowoweeee!!!
According to Jennifer, over 100 scrappers from all over the world made their submissions when Luxe Designs did their DT call a couple of months back and Aida made it into the final 15 and eventually was invited on board to be on their design team!!!

Whilst the rest of us jostled with crowds and got down to some serious shopping and fellowshipping … if there’s such a word! 
And towards the end of the evening’s activities … it was time for the Luxe Night Lucky Draw to be conducted! 3 winners were declared and they each got a gift mysteriously packaged like this below … they contained scrapbook kits which we pulled together!

… scrapper LL … … our 3rd winning scrapper was not present to collect her prize so she’ll be contacted first thing in the morning!
And even as the shutters went down, the party appeared to continue with these 2 die-hard Scrapaholics still downing their root-beer floats at our cafe’s bar-top! It was almost pub-like! A totally wholesome one though cos the only beer we serve is root beer!!! LOL!!!
Whilst others posed in kawaii ways, as they waited patiently in line to make payment for supplies that they continue to hoard!
Having been the one behind the camera most of the evening, thanks to Lia, another one of our Resident Designers who came to support the event, i’ll have this one of Jennifer and i for posterity’s sake … i am so gonna scrap this .. and it’s gonna be easy cos we’re color-coordinated … i already know what i’m gonna do for the LO! OMIGOOOSH! I sound like a lunatic of a scrapper!!!
Jennifer and i went through our last round of checks for this weekend’s workshops …. just look at the lovely supplies we’ll get to use … … can’t wait for the workshops to start!!!
Speaking of which … i’d really better go snooze cos it’s 230AM now and i’ve gotta be up real early and it’s a loooong day of workshops at Made With Love with Jennifer!!!
We’re really looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you who’ve registered for the workshops to have heaps of scrapping fun together, so see you all soon!!!

Just to share what we did the night before … … if you’ve been following the conversations on our online forum, then you’ll know that Jennifer has a weakness for chilli crab (isn’t that amazing … and so we brought her out for some … here’s a shot of the crabs, at least what’s left of them! 
Hmmm…. haven’t asked her about durians though …
And yes … this is the only picture i got of the food … we were ravenous and walloped the 7 other dishes … …
